*five out if you use the mult(direct out) and the combo amp line driver. The PCP was introduced in 1996, refined in 1999 ..it is
rapidly becoming a classic, and no engineer should be without it.
Important note: Be aware the PCP uses very special custom transformers, not off-the-shelf brand name transformers (we tried them all and for this application they just don't sound right). Much effort went into the design of the PCPs transformers in order to sound "right" and cannot be simulated by a drag (resistive loading of your pick-ups) control. The PCP was designed in the studio with the help of the best ears in the business, why else would top professionals such as Bob Ezrin, Joe Baressi, Tchad Blake, Mike Campbell, Joe Chicarelli, Karl Derfler, Neal Dorfsmann, George Drakoulias, Billy Gibbons, Matt Hyde, John Paterno, David S Sardy, Don Smith and Michael Wagener, use it? .
